Description Alliance Brass Ltd was initially developed with the idea of creating a range of mouthpieces for Besson brass instruments. The mouthpieces immediately became popular and the range has since expanded to include Signature Lines by some of the most famous brass player from the world’s leading brass bands. The Alliance range of world-beating designs can be heard in many of the finest brass bands and orchestras. Made in England to the highest standards, each mouthpiece is presented in a leather pouch and gift box. Alliance Mouthpieces were introduced to the market in 2006 by Dr Roger Webster, who was Solo Cornet of the famous Grimethorpe Colliery Band at the time, using advice from some of the leading brass players in the world, including James Gourlay, Steven Mead, Jamie Prophet, Richard Brown and Lesley Howie. The mouthpieces are renowned for their superb finish and consistency of manufacture. They have a warmth of sound, brilliance and an ability to project making them ideal for twenty-first century bands and orchestras.
